Popular telenovela Empini will take over Eastern Cape-based telenovela Gqeberha: The Empire’s 9pm timeslot when it ends.

‘EMPINI’ TAKES OVER 9PM TIMESLOT

Entertainment commentator Jabu Mcdonald reveals that Showmax’s Empini will take over Gqeberha: The Empire’s timeslot in January.

“Showmax’s fast-paced 52-episode series Empini season one is set to take over the 9 pm timeslot on Mzansi Magic following the conclusion of Gqeberha: The Empire season two. Empini season one premieres on 13 January 2025, at 9 pm,” says Mcdonald.

Season certainly one of Empini stars Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Siyabonga Thwala, Nqobile Sipamla, Owen Sejake and Charmaine Mtinta.
