PARIS, France: President of Young Africans SC and Chairman of the African Club Association, Eng. Hersi Said has bagged the Excellence for Football Development in Africa prize on the Nigeria-France Sports Awards held in Paris, France.

Tanzania’s Ambassador to France, Ali Jabir Mwadini, accepted the award on behalf of Eng. Hersi, expressing pleasure within the recognition of Hersi’s contributions to advancing soccer in Tanzania and throughout Africa.

Eng. Hersi shared his gratitude on X (previously Twitter), thanking the organizers for his or her help.

“Feeling truly grateful for this recognition! A huge thank you to the organizers for believing in my work and efforts!” he wrote.
