MTC staff donate to Cocoma Primary School

MTC staff, in partnership with MVA Fund and Namib Mills, donated over 250 sleeping mattresses and important meals provides to Cocoma Primary School within the Ndiyona circuit of the Kavango East Region.

The donation is a major contribution by MTC Care, an employee-led initiative aimed toward aiding communities with funds voluntarily contributed by MTC staff.

MTC spokesperson Elisabeth Massamba emphasised the significance of offering requirements like mattresses to make sure an excellent night time’s sleep for learners. Receiving the donation, faculty principal Moses Ndumba expressed his appreciation for the efforts of MTC staff and their collaboration with MVA Fund and Namib Mills, acknowledging the significance of such contributions in making a conducive studying atmosphere for the college’s learners.

“We are highly appreciative of the support we have received today. Some of our learners have been sleeping on the ground or on beds without mattresses, which is highly uncomfortable,” he mentioned.
