Hospitality Association appoints new Tourism Executive

The Hospitality Association of Namibia (HAN) this week introduced the appointment of Ndinelao Shikemeni as its Tourism Executive.
Shikemeni might be based mostly in Windhoek and can work intently with Gitta Paetzold, HAN Chief Executive, and the HAN Executive Committee to pursue the affiliation’s mission and develop tourism in Namibia.
According to the HAN, Shikemeni holds a Master’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and labored with the Ideas, Weg, and Getaway Magazines, in addition to different tourism organisations in Cape Town throughout her research.
In addition, she held varied positions at Gondwana Collection, together with Marketing Content Developer, Media Coordinator, Product Marketing Manager, and Diversity Marketing Manager, and serves as an exterior moderator for 2 modules within the Bachelor of Tourism and Development Programme on the Namibia University of Science and Technology.
“This moment marks a significant turning point for HAN as we look forward to nurturing innovation and development in our sector. Let’s work together to ensure that Namibia remains a top destination for travelers from around the world,” mentioned Paetzold.
