‘We are going to enter’ – Julius Malema’s GNU plan defined
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) chief Julius Malema says his celebration is able to kind a nationwide coalition authorities with the African National Congress (ANC).
Speaking on the celebration’s elective convention at Nasrec in Johannesburg final week, the 43-year-old politian predicted the Democtratic Alliance (DA) to go away the Government of National Unity over the BELA Bill.
ANC and DA have had opposing views on the invoice with the latter threatening to give up GNU if the invoice is handed.
Julius Malema expects DA to go away GNU quickly
“This GNU will not last because if (Cyril) Ramaphosa doesn’t sign the BELA Bill, the ANC will remove him,” Malema mentioned.
“If he is not going now, he will be removed in 2027. They will be new leader of the ANC. The person who is going to be elected is a person who is going to fight GNU, and that is why we are saying it will not last,” he added.
Julius Malema mentioned that the EFF have been patiently ready for ANC and DA’s relationship to break down in an effort to be a part of the GNU.
“Everywhere else it is being rejected, but people keep on imposing it on members of the ANC, so don’t rush comrades, we are waiting, we are going to enter this government. We are just waiting, you will see.”
“We are waiting. We are going to enter this thing of government, we are just waiting. When they start fighting with Helen Zille, siyangena (we are entering).”
The EFF chief mentioned the celebration was prepared to manipulate. The celebration declined ANC’s invitation to hitch the GNU earlier this 12 months, with Julius Malema stating that they want to not govern with the DA and Freedom Front Plus.
“We are going to be in government. It is a matter of time before we go in. And we are not going to join the GNU to save the ANC but to serve our people,” Julius Malema mentioned.
