Samia deploys SADC Mission to watch Mauritius election

DAR ES SALAAM: The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Organ Chairperson, President Samia Suluhu Hassan, has deployed the SADC Electoral Observation Mission (SEOM) to watch the National Assembly Election within the Republic of Mauritius, set for November 10, 2024.

The deployment aligns with SADC’s dedication to selling democracy throughout its member states, making certain elections are held transparently, freely, and pretty.

In her capability because the Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence, and Security Cooperation, President Samia has appointed the previous Chief Justice of Tanzania, Mohamed Chande Othman because the Head of Mission.
