PRESIDENT HICHILEMA RECEIVES PROGRESS REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MOPANI MINE INVESTMENT

We obtained the progress made thus far in implementation of the Mopani Mine funding by International Resources Holding (IRH) of the United Arab Emirates led by their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ali Alrashdi, Charles Sakanya the Mopani Mine CEO and Kenny Muyangwa the Board Chairperson of ZCCM-IH this afternoon at State House.

We are proud with the fast transformation, innovation and technological advances they’re making in revamping the mining large since we handed it to them six months in the past.

This challenge is a three way partnership between the ZCCM-IH and IRC of the United Arab Emirates which has thus far proved very profitable going by the elevated manufacturing figures, extra jobs, and company social obligations actions they’ve began on the Copperbelt.

We urged them to maintain prioritising Zambian residents in job alternatives, supplying and mine contractors to enhance the financial actions within the Copperbelt and in Zambia as a complete.

We are additionally decided to put money into worth addition actions for our minerals and different sources for job creation functions.
