Maseru, Oct. 25 — The Government of Lesotho, via the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development along with the Private Sector have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Public- Private Dialogue (PPD) on Friday.

The personal sector was represented by the Lesotho Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Private Sector Foundation of Lesotho.

In his remarks, the Minister of Trade Mr. Mokhethi Shelile mentioned that this MOU marks the start of a brand new chapter within the ongoing efforts to foster nearer cooperation, deepen belief and promote sustained financial progress for the advantage of all Basotho.

He said that the overarching aim of this PPD initiative is evident because it goals to ascertain, institutionalize, and strengthen an everyday and sustainable strategy of dialogue displaying that this dialogue goals to make sure readability and consistency within the implementation of personal sector growth and funding local weather insurance policies and rules.
