Mambilima MP Jean Chisenga suspended for  gross indiscipline and disorderly conduct – The Zambian Observer

Mambilima MP suspended. Clearly PF MPs are an embarrassing to norms, self-discipline and procedures, not solely of Parliament however of themselves.

PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Mambilima Member of Parliament Jean Chisenga has been suspended for seven days from Parliament for alleged gross indiscipline and disorderly conduct.

Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti introduced the suspension of Ms Chisenga, who just isn’t stranger to controversy in Parliament, yesterday.

In March, Ms Chisenga was suspended from Parliament for 30 days for calling President Hakainde Hichilema a liar.

“Honourable member for Mambilima, you have just walked in and you are debating while sitting. You are talking? Honourable member for Mambilima, I’m naming you. Ms Jean Chisenga, I find your behaviour grossly disorderly. In accordance with Standing Order No. 221, I’m naming you,” Ms Mutti stated as Ms Mambilima walked out. The Speaker left the chamber briefly and returned with a ruling.
