Ministry of Agriculture has stated the nationwide rollout of National Agriculture Management Information System (NAMIS), which started with the farmer group module also called farm family registration, registered and geo-mapped 3,446,147 farming family profiles, together with their respective land parcels.

NAMIS is a complete info administration system designed to boost agricultural knowledge administration and structured into 17 specialised modules, Minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale advised Parliament.

According to Kawale, every of those modules features a set of questionnaires configured inside the NAMIS system, making certain that knowledge is collected comprehensively and analyzed successfully.
