Malawi Makes Its Mark: FAM President Fleetwood Haiya Leads Delegation to forty sixth CAF Annual General Assembly

In a major transfer to solidify Malawi’s presence in African soccer, Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President Fleetwood Haiya led a delegation to the forty sixth CAF Annual General Assembly in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The meeting, a convergence of leaders from African soccer federations, aimed to form the way forward for the game by means of shared concepts and strategic planning.

“I’m honored to attend the 46th CAF Ordinary General Assembly,” Haiya acknowledged. “This platform is crucial for African football, fostering growth, development, and success across the continent.”

Malawi’s delegation actively participated in discussions, networking with fellow soccer leaders to alternate invaluable insights.

“Our presence here underscores Malawi’s commitment to elevating its football stature,” Haiya emphasised. “We’re eager to bring back innovative ideas to transform our football landscape.”

Haiya was accompanied by his Second Vice President Lameck Zetu Khonje and General Secretary Alfred Gunda.
