The shameless plunder of Salima Sugar Company, a taxpayer-funded enterprise, is a slap within the face of each Malawian. This isn’t only a case of mismanagement—it’s outright theft. During the DPP regime, the management handed the corporate over to a cabal of Indian nationals, conspiring to empty it dry. Imagine this: a Malawian firm, constructed by Malawian sweat, with 100% of its workforce being non-Malawian, all the way down to the safety guards. How did we permit such a disgraceful betrayal to unfold?

The looting spree, which robbed us of K450 billion, in accordance with that audit report, can’t be dismissed with pathetic cries of “political persecution.” Enough is sufficient. This isn’t about politics—it’s about crime. Those accountable have to be dragged into the tough mild of justice, stripped of their pretenses, and made to pay for his or her crimes. There’s no room for cowards hiding behind hole excuses. You stole, and now you should face the implications.

For too lengthy, politicians have handled Malawi’s sources as their private piggy financial institution, lining their pockets whereas the nation suffers. When the regulation catches up, they cry persecution, hoping to sway public sympathy. Well, let or not it’s identified: we’re not fooled. The Malawian persons are not fools. Your time of exploiting public sources and dodging accountability is over.

This is a warning to each looter and each corrupt official—previous, current, or future: justice will hunt you down. You will likely be arrested. You will likely be prosecuted.
