THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has set Friday, December 20, 2024 because the date on which to carry the National Assembly by-election in Kawambwa Constituency in Luapula and two ward by-elections in Kawama Ward in Chililabombwe and Lilondo Ward in Shangombo District in Western Province.

ECZ senior company affairs officer Sylvia Bwalya stated the polls will happen from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours on Friday, twentieth December, 2024.

Ms Bwalya stated nominations for the stated by-elections will probably be carried out on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
