The following 17 international locations have already certified for the CHAN Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Morocco, Guinea, Senegal, Mauritania, Niger, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, Sudan, Zambia, Angola and Madagascar.

Two further international locations may also take part within the match after qualifying from the remaining matches.

Senegal edged Algeria 5-4 on penalties on the Nelson Mandela Stadium in South Africa in 2023 to win the 2023 CHAN match.
