RESOLUTIONS OF THE 4TH TONSE ALLIANCE COUNCIL OF LEADERS (CoL) MEETING HELD ON MONDAY, 18TH NOVEMBER 2024 AT CREST LODGE IN LUSAKA

The assembly was referred to as to order by the Alliance Chairperson, His Excellency the sixth Republican President, and shortly to be eighth Republican President, Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, at 16 hrs. All members have been in attendance. The following was resolved:

1. That the TONSE ALLIANCE will make the most of the New Congress Party (NCP) as a platform for fielding candidates within the upcoming by-elections in Kawambwa, Chililabombwe and Shang’ombo, in addition to all future elections, together with the 2026 common elections;

2.  That TONSE ALLIANCE leaders shall all journey to Kawambwa to escort and provides solidarity to the TONSE Parliamentary Candidate in the course of the submitting in of nominations on Thursday, twenty first November 2024. The TONSE ALLIANCE will subsequently maintain a Press Briefing in Kawambwa, instantly after submitting in of nominations for our candidate. New members of the TONSE ALLIANCE shall be unveiled at this Press Briefing;

3. That all leaders of the TONSE ALLIANCE shall, tomorrow, Tuesday, nineteenth November 2024, journey to Kabwe to go to the incumbent Kawambwa Member of Parliament, Honorable Nickson Chilangwa, who’s at the moment unduly incarcerated at Mukobeko Maximum Prison on flimsy cooked up costs, to be able to supply him ethical help, in addition to get hold of his blessings for the TONSE ALLIANCE Candidate within the Kawambwa Parliamentary by-election.
