President to depart for Cape Town for official go to

President Nangolo Mbumba will depart for Cape Town, South Africa, immediately for an official go to.

“President Mbumba and H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, will hold bilateral talks to strengthen and deepen the relations between their two countries. This official visit will provide Namibia with a platform to address issues of national interest and concern,” the Namibian Presidency defined.


The Presidency highlighted that Namibia and South Africa are vital buying and selling companions in each exports and imports.

“South Africa is one of the countries with the highest number of companies operating in Namibia, and Namibia is one of the largest investors in the South African economy. Both countries are members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the Southern African Customs Union (SACU),” the Presidency added.

The Namibian Presidency confirmed that President Mbumba will return to Namibia on Wednesday, 30 October 2024.
